This aromatic white displays wonderful aromas of peach and apricot with a touch of oak on the finish.
Fiano/Greco 2009, A Mano, Southern Italy £21.00
Perfumes of citrus, white peach, apricot, a hint of honey, almonds and rose petals. Clean and fresh with lively fruit and a zesty finish. Very drinkable white, delicious with shellfish, fishcakes and anything with a kick of chilli spice.
Chablis, 1er Cru 2007, Moreau et Fils, Forchaumes Burgundy, France £37.50
The 24 hectares, extend just beyond the Grand Cru hillside, and benefit from excellent south-western exposure. The nose has an aroma of baked goods; brioche, almond, whilst the palate shows a good balance between acidity and sugar, with notes of bitter orange peel.

The wine is composed of a blend of Tinta Barroca, Shiraz and Merlot. The intensity of the Tinta Barroca (a traditional Port grape varietal) is rounded and softened by the Merlot whilst the Shiraz adds a touch of spice. The wine is full of delicious mullberry and soft plum flavours.

Spicy Shiraz fruit dominates with a touch of Pinotage giving smokey intensity; clove, liquorice off sets the cherry chocolate fruit. Try it with chicken dishes and the spice will compliment haggis too.

Matured in French oak barrels for 12 months. Deep ruby red colour. Aromas of red fruit with elegant vanilla and black chocolate nuances. Firm tannins and a long finish.

Deep, rich and smooth with plum and chocolatey fruit aromas and flavours, this lovely red beautifully expresses a perfume and warmth from the sun soaked vienyards of Puglia. A great partner with lamb, game and haggis.

A delicious red wine from the Languedoc region of France. Produced from Syrah and Grenache, the wine is rich and soft with hints of spice.

The grape must is left on the skins for 12 hours to give the wine its characteristic pale peachy colour. Dry soft and well balanced.

Vibrant and attractive with strawberries, raspberries and fresh plums adding to the appeal of this watermelon coloured rose. Dry and crisp with plenty of robust fruit flavours and structure making for a good all round food wine, versatile enough for crabcakes, salmon fillet and vegetable dishes.

Straw shade of yellow reflecting spring rays of sunshine and the flavour is harmoniously balanced with delicate fruity notes, a low acidity and a moderate alcohol content. Prosecco should be consumed when still young to fully appreciate the sparkle (perlage), fragrance and flavour.

This outstanding Rose champagne has aromas of strawberries, redcurrants and raspberries. The palate opens up to provide a melange of flavours including raspberries and cherries.

Perrier Jouet's top offering, made great by a high proportion of Cramant Grand Cru Chardonnay. It is lively and fresh, with vanilla and slightly honeyed aromatics that change on the palate to citrus with a hint of tropical fruit at the close. Long and lingering and with the added benefit of being one of the most beautiful bottles in the world.
